Rubba dub dub, fun in the tub. Mix some shaving cream with food coloring and let them play in the tub for as long as they'd like. Encourage them to use their hands and get some sensory work done at the same time. When they're done... just rinse away and the canvas is clean. :)

Fun learning idea, paint in a bag is good for drawing and practicing letters and won't make a mess. This is another great tool to put into your travel bag. Doesn't take up too much space and it can keep them entertained for a while. Mix it up by adding multiple paint colors or glitter.
Next time your child complains of boredom they have to pick a slip & do the activity, good or bad. It might be going for ice cream, getting to watch a movie, reading a book... or it might be cleaning their room, helping you sweep, or practicing their handwriting. If anyone has any good ideas of what activities can go into the jar, let us know!
This game is great for a rainy day indoors. Who said you can't play ball in the house? If you have more than two kids, just add some extra rackets and let them go at in a circle. To make the game a little more challenging and to add some light noise to the mix, put a little bit of uncooked rice into the balloons.
This is a great activity that can be done anywhere. Put it into a ziplock bag and have kids entertained in the car, they won't even know they're working on their fine motor skills. You can further adapt this by having them match numbers or shapes.
